Ullapool AccommodationBlue Kazoo Seafood Cafe brings fresh, local seafood straight to our door. We present all kinds of local fresh fish and shellfish showcasing the delicious produce available to us in Ullapool and the Scottish Highlands.

Particular specialities include smoked salmon from Ullapool Smokehouse, hand dived local scallops and the famous langoustines, both landed in Ullapool as well as fresh mussels from the Isle of Lewis, oysters, Orkney crab, Wester Ross salmon and locally smoked haddock.

We offer a selection of seafood platters which are perfect for sharing with a glass of wine whilst watching the fishing boats as they come in for the evening. Popular choices also include our creamy West Coast Fish Stew with prawns, scallops and langoustine and also our House Fish Pie. Each day we offer a changing selection of fresh fish, available to be cooked in a style of your choosing from simply poached to herb crusted and oven baked. Add to this your choice of sides to customise your meal as you prefer.

For something a bit lighter there’s a selection of salads bursting with superfoods and fresh goodness. Try one or a mixture of all four, plus you can top it off with grilled chicken, salmon, scampi or langoustine if you wish.
Fish not your favourite? There’ll always be something on our specials board for the vegetarian and the meat-lover too! Not forgetting our homemade desserts!

The restaurant is open all day in the summer providing breakfast, lunch and evening meals with beautiful open views of Loch Broom. We also have a menu of lighter bites suitable for takeaway to sit outside on the sea wall opposite and watch the boats come in with their daily catch.
